vin decode, 1975?

vin decode, 1975?
im looking at a serial sequence number X61183. but everything I can find online says the X series only went to 40000 in 75 and started at X80 for 77?
this is a San Jose truck, F26 (f250 4x4)

Serial numbers are the same for
all trucks, Bronco's and Econolines. In the 1973/79 F600/900 truck catalog, 1975 serial numbers: U80,001-X60,000.
So, it's most likely a 1975.
Look at the upper left hand corner of the Safety Standard Certification Label for the production date (see pic below).
Regardless of what the catalog says, this label is glued to the B pillar below the striker plate.
It's the Warranty Plate that's riveted to the left door face below the latch (latch face of left front door).
