I bought the in channel AVS for my wifes car and they look good but they do rub the window a little. I went with the ultra-slim AVS for mine (in a pile with other parts waiting for the truck!) No contact with the window and very slim. Same ones as the F150.

Are they better than they used to be? I tried a set on our Expedition and the wind noise was irritating. Then the front ones got loose and started hanging down from the window slot. They rubbed the window too much. The only ones that stayed in were the back windows. I like the idea of them but am a little gun shy now.

I've been very happy with the plane Jane Ford visors. Have 3 sets. On my new F250, my Dad's 2015 F150 and my 2002 F150.

Great pics of the in channel visors, I hate the look of the stick on type.

I'm looking at getting a set. I have been looking at the Weathertech but I'd kind of like the chrome look and they don't have them.

Anyone have a recommendation for an in channel Chrome?

Here is another thread concerning side window vent visors. I am not a fan of in the groove visors as can be seen in the list thread -

I've got the WeatherTech in channel and no issues with wind or fitment. They look and work great.

Just to confirm with you, I think the photo of the F150 is not the in channel style as they cover the center pillars.
The part number is for the in channel though?

Or perhaps the part that attaches to the window via in-channel and has a piece that just "floats" over the center pillar?
