looking at Lund's website (AVS parent company) the 894044 is the dark smoke, and the 774044 is the matte black. But they both have both pictures.. so I think they haven't generated proper media pics for these part numbers yet. Looking back, someone other than AMXdreamer posted that same part number for the same visors... so I'm pretty sure it's the right number (if you want smoke). if you want Matte Black, then 774044 appears to be what you want.
I've always been a fan of the in channels myself, but saw pics of these AVS slim stick ons in a different thread and liked them enough to give them a try. They are so tight to the truck, they almost look factory (imo) and don't look like the typical stick ons I usually see. I'm happy with them-no window issues nor wind noise.
Just to confirm with you, I think the photo of the F150 is not the in channel style as they cover the center pillars.
The part number is for the in channel though?
That's odd, the ones I have are still in the package and are definitely not in channel versions but they don't list UH etc after the number. Mine are the smoke versions and not the matte black.

Yes, those are much nicer than the usual stickons, do you have the part number?
Wish the manufacturers would put actual photos of the product on the correct vehicle.
Dan, those are the ones I listed the part number for (smoke).
Ahhh! (Brain clicks into a forward gear) I misinterpreted what you said in post #3
I thought you purchased in-channel for the SD. Perfect then, the AVS are the ones I will go with. Thank you
SEE FROGRACER's posting above (important site reference there)-
i bought a set of LUND/AVS in-channels (model 194381) for a 17 F250 ccsb platinum from REALTRUCK.com---after overcoming the bounce back feature, window will not seat completely and the window catches on the end tabs of the visor, eventually cracking one side-needless to say they are no longer on the truck--
I wanted to bump this thread back to the first page. My 2018 should be here in a few days and wanted to check in and see how everyone’s “in channel” or “stick on” vent visors were performing. I think I am leaning towards the AVS in channel but I have had good luck with both the stick on and in channel on other vehicles.. Thoughts?
