Tailgate damper install
I just ordered one of these, should be able to install it this Wed. I watched a you tube video and it looks very simple,......... I'll post back with my thoughts.

It is easy to install I did this to my truck. Just have an extra hand for the tailgate since the wiring is fed down through the middle. I say this but I did it by myself. Just be careful with it. And have someplace soft to set it on. The dampner just bolts right it.

Install was simple, took about 20 minutes. In my opinion, as cheap as this part/kit cost ($65), this is another fine example that Ford should include this as a standard item on all SD's, especially when you order the step kit option for the tail gate, it would make so much sense, kind of like illuminated vanity mirrors.
