I have a 2013 F150 without the dual climate control (just has the dial with red/blue to adjust the temp). My blower was working intermittently so I pulled the resistor and one of the pins are burnt. That's one issue, however, when I look up the part, the one I have seems to be the resistor for a truck with dual climate control (larger white part with aluminum heat sink on the back). The truck only has 80,000 miles and it's not like ac system has been changed. Any idea? The part number listed on line for the part that looks identical to mine is BL3Z-19E624-AA. The part number on my part is the same, except there's an H in the place of the Z. I know I will need to order the part for the system with dual control because the other version does not bolt up the same. This doesn't make sense.
As for the burnt pin, the wire that matches this pin looks like it's gotten hot as well. The blower seems to run fine when it's running. I've read that the blower could be pulling too much current, but could the burnt section simply be due to the resistor failing?
It's just a piece of coiled wire, maybe nichrome or whatever. A wirewound resistor. They get red hot in use. So long as it's not open, it should work fine.
I have looked up part numbers for two random 2013 model year F-150s with VINs pulled from vehicles posted for sale on eBay. One happens to be equipped with dual zone climate control. The other, a single unit like yours. Running both VINs through HvBom returns the same part number for the blower resistor, and that would be BL3Z-19E624-A (Motorcraft number YH-1829). If you can post your VIN, I will gladly run yours as well, to ensure you have the correct part.

According to HvBom, the part number in my previous post (BL3Z-19E624-A, Motorcraft number YH-1829) is the correct one for your vehicle as well. You posted one too many A's in the suffix of the part number in your initial post.
