Good point, to run bigger tires on a Chevy you have to put on a huge lift, then it looks even worse!
Have to agree with you on that. I've driven the chevy's and rams and could never see myself owning anything but ford! There's a reason why they outsell their competition!
Thanks again for the input. I have had the pleasure of DD a Duramax, pulling 5th wheel to TN and back with a new Cummins and pulling a 5th wheel to Fl and back with a Powerstroke. They all had their upside and downside. The Duramax was the smoothest, but the least power. The Cummins had the most power, but horrible shifting. The Ford is the best overall with my only real complaint is that I can't get used to the electronic turn signal!
In the end, I traded!! No more Chevy, I'm back to owning a Ford after a 23 years absence (Ford Escort). Now to go to the DMV and fight that mess tomorrow.
After the experience I just made with a denied warranty claim on an F-350 with 9000 miles on it, I would stay as far away from Ford as possible!
He is speaking in regards to his back window that mysteriously shattered. Which the claim should have been taken to his insurance company.

Yep. True, true.

I think were going to be a little biased, but the 6.7 Powerstorke engine has been a HORSE for Ford and Ford learned from the fiasco they had with the 6.0 and 6.4 unhappy customers.
We have 6.7's at work and those trucks love to work, we dont have platinum models are's are XLT packages (except the owners are driving lariats) One of the things our company does is they offer the employees a chance to buy company trucks after either a certain number of years, mileage, and based on what engines.
We turn over probably 12 to 25 trucks a year, and out of those maybe half sometimes less actual make it to the auction most are snapped up by the employees, when it comes to the 6.7's there is a long list of people vying to get the trucks and thats because of how well maintained they are but because the 6.7 engines have been such a solid truck for us.
We tried some duramax and dodge cummins out We had more issues with the two durmaxs we had tried on a lease that we gave them back early. The Dodge's were a mess, transmission after transmission after transmission problems not to mention rust and paint problems on a not even 12 month old truck??? like WTF?
As long as your not coming out the short end of the stick finance wise, I would jump all over that Powerstroke. You may think the 6.7 aint that comfy, but wait till your *** is in the seat a while and your body gets used to it, you'll like it
