I have a 2011 F150 and have downloaded a sync software update multiple times and copied to multiple USB's, but it will not update. The system repeatedly says "File Not Found". Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I had a problem similar to this last summer when I tried to update sync in my 2011. I called sync customer service and they were able to talk me through getting the problem fixed. The tech was also able to verify that sync completed the update successfully. I would reach out to them, as they were very nice and helpful.
After chatting with Sync support, the key to success is to use an app like Stuffit Expander to unzip the download when using a Mac. The standard app on Mac doesn't unzip correctly.

Good deal! I was going to suggest the same thing with WinDoze- I had a hard time using WinZip to unzip the download but I tried a free app called 7-Zip and voila! worked fine.
After downloading the update from a Windows computer, I was able to get around the "file not found" issue. However, my problem now is that I don't have enough memory on my Sync system, or the version is incompatible.
