Hood flip kit ??
Went to a car show yesterday @ our local high school, (Casa Roble) in Orangevale CA. I was the 289th car took my 30 model A. Seen about 5 F-100's & they all had the flip kit for their hoods. I just put new springs on the 53 Fri, Now the hood needs all kinds of alinement. I'm going to buy a flip kit ! CCP Makes to kits 53-56MMB-C & -P. Going to call Monday & find out the differnts. Is CCP the way to go ? Who else out there make good kits ?

I just put the CPP kit on my ’56. There are a number of articles and a video from Mid Fifty on YouTube that provides guidance.
However, the kit is not a cure for bad alignment as the HotRod article states:

My understanding of the various kits is the SS version has the ramps, prop, and plates that cover the hood spring holes; the rest is raw steel. I have not seen a fully SS version of all parts.
The kit is not hard to install but fitting and alignment was my biggest issue. My main reason for installing was a safety issue.
