    Hi Indybeer,

I am also located just outside of Indy, north of town in Cicero. Just got my truck last fall and haven't had much chance to work on it because of the cold. I am a retired Allison engineer and would like to get to know some guys and/or groups that are into these early 50's trucks. Thanks for your input on my mystery pipe.

Good day. What size fuel line are you running on your 54 from your carb to fuel pump? Is it 5/16 ? Thanks. Steve

Curious to know where you purchased your patch panels, the vendor I use is linked with LMC. I have bought from Midfifty before but it would be more convenient through the vendor I've been using this side of the border. Wondering if you maybe purchased from LMC

Thanks for the links to your albums, the 11th pic on the first link helps a lot and shows how I thought the pieces were put together. I'll have to replace both inner and outer rear corners and the hat shaped piece that runs across the rear floor section joined to each inner corner. More work than I had hoped for, cab is in much worse condition than what I first thought but repairable. Appreciate your help. Your cab turned out very nice.

I'm not sure how or if you can actually see a message from me. If so, please respond! I have been trying to find some stock 16"s for my '54 for about 5 years now. I bought some on eBay and got screwed. 3 of the 4 were bent and way rustier than represented. Please contact me if you can help. I see you're in Indiana. That is no problem for me. This has been a frustrating search for me!
