Help! Brake problem

Hello everyone. Need some help.

So I pulled the righ front wheel from my 2000 X, 6.8 V10. Noticed there is a tube running g to brake cylinder that's nearly broken off. The other end is hanging on by a thread. See pics for details.

Any my ideas what this is? Front brakes shutter too but that may be bad rotors? Thanks in advance!

The far right hose

Isn't that the vacuum line to activate the 4 wheel hub?

Yes. Your hubs won't engage with that hose broken. It supplied vacuum too the hub.

Look closer. It doesn't go to the brake system.

Technically yes, but it is an ESOF hose. If the guy at the parts store asks what he needs it for he can't say "a rubber hose", but he can say "to replace the obvious flaw ford left in my esof system... the esof hose."

The hose you buy should be 1/8" inside diameter. Just like the vacuum lines on the rest of the truck. This is what I use. Lasts a lot longer.
