What is this?

Today when i was removing my Roush CAI i noticed this line disconnected. It kinda looks like nothing has ever been attached to it. Could anybody help to tell me what this is? I followed it to my front hub. This is on the drivers side. Everything seems to be hooked up and working fine as i used my 4x4 this weekend.

thanks

If you are pointing to the line with the orange tag it goes to the anti-lock brake control module.

Looks like a vent of some type. Dig around the other side, or follow one up from the other hub.

yes, it is the vent for your IWE (hub) actuator....... there is one on the pass side also for the other actuator, but it isnt shaped the same.

your IWE should have 2 lines. 1 for the vacuum that runs along the firewall into the vacuum solenoid

the other line is the one pictured. it is the vacuum break
