Fuel tank Question...

I have a 99 F-250 XLT 4x4 SC,LB w/ a PSD, was wondering how much fuel does this thing hold? I was told by the dealer 29 gallons talked to another guy and he said 38 gallons so I called 2 more different dealers and they both told me a different answer one said 29 the other 39 gallons. I don't have a owners manual and my buddies manual for some reason doesn't say and he never lets it go below a half a tank anyways. I would assume its a 39 gallon because I got 300 miles to a little less than half a tank. I have only one tank mid ship style. I don't mean to sound stupid but I can't get a straight answer from anybody( aka:dealer) that should know for sure...

Short Beds get a 29 gallon tank, Long Beds get a 38 gallon tank.

Thanks Guys, I find it pretty pathetic that a "Dealer" who should know doesn't know what they sell. I talked with the parts dept also and they couldn't come up with an answer even after giving them all the info I had for the truck... Well at least I know now...
