Truck will start and idle but chuggs and dies when I give it gas. Plus the parking lights and dash lights stay on when head lights are turned off and ignition is off.
I have been chasing electrical issues for the last week changed the fuse box and then found the ground cable from the battery was broken.
I have cleaned all connections

Ok, since it's staying here.... first thing I'd check is the IAC valve. This could explain your hesitation than shutting down but in no way will this effect lighting issues. You may also have an electrical issue effecting fuel delivery. In most cases IAC valve can be cleaned out and as long as there are no cracks your good to go.

Thanks for the info. Took a few days off from messing with the truck got tired of it. I disconnect the battery and charged dot and left it set for a few days. Reconnected the battery turned the key stared right up idled good gave it gas reved up good. Took it down the road ran fine.
Now none of my Gage's are working and my parking lights stay on when truck is turned off.
parking lights will stay on if turn the head lights on then off have to disconnect the battery.
Could this be a fuse or a drowned issue.
Thanks again.
