Aux Power location
I have a 2017 F350 Diesel, I'm installing a 2 way radio and tried hooking the power wire up to a spare location in the interior fuse panel in a fuse port that was called "spare" in the manual. The fuse that I pulled from the panel was actually the circut for the shifter/brake release function. Do not have the upfitter switches so I'm hunting for another hot location to attach the positive wire for the 2-way radio. It has to be hot at all time as I need it on. Any one find a hot location to go to, other then going all the way to the batteries?

The 10 gauge power line to the inverter under the back seat is always hot. Otherwise, it would be easy enough to use the factory supplied firewall pass through wires above the passenger kick panel to shoot a line directly to the battery.
