fuse panel

I am trying to find a fuse that is only on when the ignition is on.
(F-150 '08)

I have tried several, but even the radio fuse is always hot.
What do people use for a radar detector connection?

It wasn't the easiest one to access, but I ended up using F01, a 10 amp "keyed hot" connection for Run/Accessory - Wipers, Instrument cluster, and Audio for XL/STX. It seems like almost every other fuse, including the radio, is hot all the time. The device I was installing had a status light so it had to be wired to a fuse that was hot only when the ignition was on.

Thanks Rusty, I'm sure this will help many people.

I ended up using the rear power window slot, i think, for my cb radio

i think its a hot all the time fuse too but i never forget to turn the cb off since the on off is in the volume

i can't explain it cause i forget to turn everything else off like that

my satellite radio is connected to one of those multi power point strips thats plugged right into the cigarette lighter plug

anyone else know of any other places that we could hook up accessories that we want to come on only when the ignition is on?

where is everyone connecting their satellite? or are you guys just plugging and unplugging at one of the power points on the dash like me right now?
