Good evening, all,
Just traded off the wife's 2011 Cherokee for a 2016 Expedition. I liked the Jeep (except for how much freaking money it cost to continually fix it) but I LOVE this Expo only two weeks into it. Found this old thread and thought I'd dig it back up instead of starting a new one. Has anyone figured out how to disable the double honk feature or is it just something you have to live with? At first, I thought it was just the Mrs. being picky about a non-issue. After my first night of leaving it in the driveway while I hauled kids inside, I quickly discovered that it's irritating as Hell...and so did my neighbors.
Any insights other than what the OP and others had to offer?

I did read it, just was curious (and hopeful) if there was something easier or simpler that has come along since. Still good information, though! Just gotta decide if it's worth the hundred or so dollars to eliminate the horn.
