I have a 2012 F350 XLT that came out of Canada. So of course the speedometer is in KM. (Large numbers are km and smaller numbers are mph). I am trying to find out if I can simply change out my cluster with a mph cluster??? Anyone attempt this??
You can get one thru the dealer, they will re-do the total Kms on it and reflect it in miles. The question is do you want to pay the cost I think it is in the neighborhood of 700.00 and it could be more if yours has the full heads up display
I swapped clusters in my 2011 XLT to get the Productivity Cluster. Diesel ones are easy to find, but 6.2 ones are not. Circuit Board Medics helped me with the programming. I believe you can use years 2011-2013; starting in 2014 there were changes made to the board that do not work with the early model year trucks.
Thanks all. I have been working with Circuit Board Medics CBM). Currently they are not recommending changing out - well upgrading to the productive screen. Their issue is because of the kilometers vs Miles. They are researching it. I was looking to at least change out a used cluster that has miles on it and have CBM reset miles and hours.... So my concern is if the productive screen wont work - what about just the "basic" cluster that has the minimal date and etc. I will look at the forums some of you are suggesting....
