hey guys,
just picked up new ignition switch and lock\cylinder, i know how to remove them, but i cannot get the new cylinder to set in place. is there a truck i'm missing here?
ya that's what i'm tying and it just doesn't want to click in. i know the switches changed over the years. but did the cylinder change at all. i'm wondering if it's not the correct cylinder?
i don't have the original switch, i have the correct new switch, but i cannot get the cylinder to lock in place. can i use a screw driver to turn the switch to get it started? or do you have to use the cylinder
still having trouble getting this cylinder to click into the ignition switch. does anyone know if they made different cylinders over the years? i ordered a 79 to made the 79 switch. but i can not get this bigger to click in
thanks numberdumby
