2003 6.0 No start
Here's the details,
2003 6.0 160,000 no start
October 2016 the shop put in
8 new injectors
New turbo
New HPOP
New IPR
Batteries are in good shape and turning the engine over with plenty of speed. Scan Gauge shows the follow
FICM 48 volts + while cranking
sync is good
ICP pressure 565 while cranking, .18v key on, .84v while cranking
IPR 14.8% key on, 84.7% cranking
I can hear the injectors doing their pre-start clicking. Fuel pressure is 54psi.
I'm suspecting possibly a bad or plugged IPR. I haven't had a chance to do an air test yet with the HPO system yet. This truck belongs to some family friends and the trip to mechanic to have all those parts installed cost them over $10,000. I asked our friends why they had the turbo, injectors and HPOP replaced. They said the truck wasn't running real well and that's what they were told it needed. I suspect the mechanic either isn't that knowledgeable about 6.0's or is took them for a ride.
