I believe I have answered my own question. My truck is 4wd, so the number would be further back the rail. That also explains the difference in Springs. I'll look for it when I get home.
True. It is a 360, c6, 205 truck. So I have known the body is different than the frame and driveline. I'm just curious as to the original colors of the 2wd body that is on the 4wd chassis.

so the frame and driveline are 76 and the body is 74. The chassis is from Ontario and the body from flint. I wouldn't mind knowing the story of how the two came together. We know the body originally was on a f250 2wd chassis with a 460 and auto transmission. Would be nice to know more about the body that came on the 76 chassis.
