My 1999 F-250 Superduty is painted a "FORD FLEET GREEN" color Code #W7514, which isn't standard, but I've seen it on the door tags of some trucks up through 2012.
I need to spray the white tailgate and rear bumper. Is this something I could get from the dealer or do I need to have a bodyshop custom mix the color?
Typically and good paint/body supply outfit can mix and tint any color to your code. If you can take the truck to such a seller they have color maps and can better match your existing color, not the one its supposed to be according to that finish code. That is assuming you want a good color match for the truck as it is today.
JWA is correct, best to go to a PBE store that mixes paints, take the color code from the door jam with you at the very least. Better is as JWA says, have them use their expertise and equipment to get a match for you by having the truck at the store.
Hey memobug, I know this thread is really old, but I also have a "fleet green" f250 with the same paint code. Were you able to find paint for it?
No I didn't but the advice to get a custom match seems good. In my case painting the rear bumper grey to match the front would be fine. Tailgate us still white
