Transfer case and diff fluid
I am getting ready to go through the truck and change all the fluids. Transmission, transfer case and front/rear diff's.
Transmission I've got covered, I've got a case of Mercon SP.
What are you guys using for the transfer case? Manual says Mercon but I can't find that any more. Are you guys using Ford's XL-12 transfer case fluid? Something else? Can I use Valvoline Maxlife ATF? It says Dex/Merc, assuming that means Mercon?
I was planning on using either Mobil 1 or Amsoil Sever Gear for the diff's. Any words of advice on either? Do I need to add additional friction modifiers to either for the rear? They both say they have it already.

I used Amsoil 75w-140 for the rear diff and did not need the friction modifier. Transfer case and P/S I use the amsoil signature series multi vehicle atf and front diff is 75w-90 if memory serves. You can check amsoils website to confirm your specific application according to what diif you have Dan 50, 60 or Sterling.
