Ok y'all here's an easy one. I bought an auxiliary trans cooler with a thermostat controlled fan. Does it matter which line I cut into for the install?
Ain't easy if we don't know what cooler it is and where it's going??????? If it don't make a difference neither does it make a difference what wire you cut.

A trans cooler should be after the factory built-in cooler in the radiator.
Hot fluid goes out the transmission, through the built-in cooler, out to the auxiliary cooler, and back to the transmission. You need to find out which line is supply, and which line is the return. Google is your friend.

Return it. The 5R110 has the best cooling of basically ANY automatic transmission. The cooling system for the transmission behind a 6.0L is actually used as an UPGRADE to most other trucks.
