I'm confused here, the little avitar on your sig is 007 holding a gun! Weapons are the only thing 007 ever uses to get his point across, remember he has a license to kill !! Your hero maybe?
And since you know other ways to solve problems, their is a place for you in N. Korea, iran, pakistan, and many african countrys to name a few! You could bring world peace with your new ideas!
But,I think your wrong, and your excused!
Remember, its never dark, when your holding the lantern,

The problem with gun control is this, WE as citizens have a CONSTITUITIONAL right to OWN and USE guns, pepsi and they're sister companies support taking this freedom away. The second ammendment was written so that if the government got out of had it could be taken over by use of force by the american populice. The liberal dems are scared that that may happen while one of their lackeys is in office. That is why that they all want to ban the sales, manufacture, use, and ownership of guns. In their perfect society it will look a lot like communist russia, armed gov. guards everywhere, telling you when to take a crap, when to eat, when to sleep. It all boils down to how much FREEDOM you wish to have. Some people believe that we are TOO free, that was the motivation behind the 9/11 attacks, in my opinion had the pilots been armed that whole mess could have been avoided.
re: IL6
there are obviously more than two ways to handle any situation, its not black and white like we all like to see it but is mostly grey, leaving many options and outcomes. there are ways to solve problems without weapons, but often times weapons are the best way to solve a problem, ie, shooting someone holding you at knifepoint, someone attempting to kidnap you, and these are just to name a few...weapons arent the only answer but they are still an answer
the anti gun laws are only going to take them out of the law obeying people. thus the criminals will still have them and still use them and bad things will still happen.
You are totally correct. The sad thing is that as long as some people can still get their favorite chips they won't complain. " A free man can become a slave; a slave can never become a free man ". We either hang together or hang seperately.
I personally own a few guns. (My 12Ga is loaded with beanbags bythe way. I have two small children (3y.o & 1y.o)in my house and TRY to protect them from any sort of harm) I just dont think they need to see a DOA in my hallway if it should come to pass. AND BELIEVE ME a few hits from a beanbag and you are down not to get up for quite some time. And if you do, you get hit again. I Am not a threat to anyone who deoesnt threaten me or my family.
I understand the reasoning behind theire policies...Like Disney........If someone gets a gun into disney and someone gets shot. They can say we have a policy of being anti gun but do to this incident we are BANNING all guns from our grounds for the safety of our visitors. Therefore visitors will feel safer, thervy going back to disney and spending more money. So for those companies ALL their policies are all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Otherwise they could give 2 ****s less about who has a gun,UNTIL IT AFFECTS THEIR REVENUES........................................
P.S. Do they REALLY think that if a gun is made illegal, the bad guys are just going to say "I guess I should turn this in I might get in trouble if I get caught"...............NO ONLY THE GOOD OL' LAW ABIDING CITIZEN WILL..................Therefore rendering himself and family VIRTUALLY defenseless against a gun toting bad guy........................
.Just my rant for tonight Sorry its so long................................
