Let me make it clear that this is something me and about 3 friends were talking about a few nights ago. One of them brought it up, and another said that they had heard the same thing. So, basically I don't have any concrete evidence that says Pepsi is going to get rid of guns or whatever. If anyone has any evidence of this, please tell.
AND -- I friggin love Pepsi! I really hope they aren't doing this.
Lord knows how defensless we'd be with no 30-30's with scopes!
I think if they took all my guns, I'd have to stash my Red Rider BB gun under the ground or something. I love 'ol Betsy! My first gun...(tears run down true4.2's face)
What's wrong with gun control? Plenty, you aren't removing criminals by controlling the sale and ownership of guns, you are increasing it. The black market prices soar, and because you don;t need a permit to buy a gun out of some guys truck, anyone can get one. Most people that are killed by guns are shot accidently. Intersting fact, you are more likely to be killed in a car accident than in a shooting. Go to the NRA's website. www.nra.org
Doctors kill MANY more people accidently than accidental killings using guns.......so, why don't they ban doctors?

Guns are only used to destroy, what else do you use a gun for? And i'm sure the doctors get sued for those deaths, doctors and cars do serve other purposes than injuring or killing
In my opinion there is a big diference between sporting guns and assault weapons. I don't think there is any need in our society for semi-autos with 30 round clips.
Even though I own a handgun, my life wouldn't change one lick without it. The sound of my mossberg chambering a round will put more fear into a baddie than the show of a pistol.
I realize gun control is a touchy subject and there are no clear answers but some of the defense on both sides is pretty thin. I think owning a gun is an American institution and a good part of the reason that our shores haven't been invaded in a couple centurys. Just remember though, innocent people die every day so you can maintain your right to own weapons. One of them was a friend of mine.

As far as I know, they've already banned assault rifles with 30 round clips. Same with handguns. There is a 10 round limit and some revolvers hold 7 rounds. Are we argueing over the number of bullets or the right to own??

Well, self-protection comes to mind. I have a gun (12-gauge shotgun) for that reason, in fact.
I use my guns for hunting, and that's about it. Just can't see sneakin' up on a deer with a Bowie knife or a baseball bat, you know?
Trivia: Pennsylvania has the highest number of registered machine gun owners in the US. They also have some of the lowest numbers of gun fatalities. Fight crime - shoot back.
