That makes sense. I need to get a helper.. a tanny tech I know tokd my to take a pry bar and move the slave cylinder back n forth anyone ever heard of this
Get a buddy, put a little fluid in a clear container, run a hose from bleeder to bottom of the container, open the bleeder as they push the pedal, have them stop when they reach the floor, close the bleeder, have them release the pedal. If it stays on the floor, grab it and pull it up, otherwise, Repeat process till you no longer see bubbles come out the hose.
or crank the hand pump as you open and close the bleeder. Fill reservoir as needed.
If neither of these methods work and they will, then id start suspecting the slave cylinder.
Sorry for the late reply. But I seen the pedal bushings were pretty bad. So I thought doin those would help. Still only getting a half pedal at best.. will get a helper as soon as I can.. would a bad slave give any pedal at all? Cuase like I said it will return halfway
THE FIX. So when the line poped off and pedal stoped the force on the cross lever stripped the splines causing it to move out of adjustment just enough. After replacing I had to bleed again. I actually did try prying the slave back and forth with master cylinder cap off. And sure as **** 20 pumps and it bleed. Forced air to the top... I now have a clutch. Thanks guys!
