That is definitely great news that you do not have a base motor issue
The glow plugs can have circuit issues with the plugs at the GPCM not being seated properly, the plugs at the buss bars not being seated properly, wires being kinked, or the glow plugs being simply faulty.
Since you are replacing everything just make sure the plugs seat and click into the GPCM completely. Maybe take a look at the prongs to be sure they are straight.
Like I said I don't here anything in the last video that would be alarming to me. Any diesel that has any type of engine know will be unmistakable...trust me.
By using the jumper wire on the passenger side... that allows it to just crank without starting... it gives you the opportunity to just listen to it. Nice even cranking... sleep good!
