The door handles won't fall off it's just the screws are just pushed in the holes and vibrate in and out. The helicoil sound good except there is nothing inside the door to use it on and you couldn't get to them anyway. The plate with the "D" nut or whatever is suppose to be inside the door is totally gone. A fellow on one of the other forums sent me this link for "Rivnut". I have an email sent to them waiting to hear back on the price of their kits and the tool to install them. Looks promising. Had family up from Nashville this weekend so all I got done was I got the licence plate lights wired back up as they are part of the bolts that holds the plates on. Put 75 miles on the 37 this weekend. What a blast. I'll get back on the door issue next week. In no hurry.
We was jest messin' with you anyhow. I had a great time with my daughter and her husband this weekend even though we had to go to dinner with them at the ex wife's place. My new wife is so awesome, the ex can HAVE the neighbor!

Yeah.....I know. Just wanted to let you boys know where I'm at. Had to take the 37 around to all the family members to show it off and give rides. So glad that's over with. Now the wife want new shoulder seat belts. Found these. Chrome Lift Latch Retractable Shoulder Belt
The Rivnut idea is a good one. Probably would be the easiest, although not cheapest, way to go fix it. It's the same way Ford installed the side mirrors on my old '70 Mustang.
