If i get new coolant to top off what was lost will i need to buy a couple quarts of vc12 or no.

Check with whomever wrote your tunes and get their input. My throttle valve is unplugged, as was recommended at the time. I can't imagine needing it to stay functional after an EGR delete, but if that is how your tunes were written, it could be that it has to remain plugged in. Many people actually completely remove the throttle valve when doing a delete.
