I used a set of channel locks to get them to pull up all the way, again patience is the key, they can be a PITA, as long as you have the bolts up all the way, you can remove the manifold. The bolts are in "sleeves", just make sure you keep up with which bolts go where, IIRC, the few on the backside are shorter
Yeah, a lot more chit under the hood now, if the bolt hole is off center, get the helicoil kit, it comes with the correct size bit, just follow the directions.
When i put it back together and add coolant do i need the distilled water to make it 50 50 or just add the coolant only. Im gonna go to ford and get the ford gold. Never used that stuff. When i had my 6.0 i did the flush and new oil cooler wen i did my egr delete. Didnt use ford gold used the red zerex. Not exactly how much coolant i lost wen i removed the coolant lines. I guess what im asking. When you put coolant back in yours what was your way of going about it.
Did some reading. I have the no limit fab egr delete. Do i need to leave the butter fly valve plugged in or do i leave it unplugged. It did say spartan tuner needs it. I got the sct livewire.
