The EGR valve? Really simple, 2 8mm bolts, and pull up on it.....
Sometimes you can fish a wire thru both bolt holes and use it to pull it out.
Replace both o-rings on it, don't submerge the whole valve, just the part that sticks into the intake

It's pretty easy. If you warm the truck up first it should help it pop out easier. Big pair of slip joint pliers & rubber hose on the jaws popped mine right out. Lube the orings before you pop it back in.

I just used a can of carb cleaner. I saw on a video where a guy used a carb cleaner poured from a bottle and soaked the valve in it.
DO NOT get any cleaner inside the valve's solenoid. If you look at the bottom end of the solenoid body there are a couple holes that cleaner/solvent can get into and it will damage the solenoid or actuator or whatever you want to call it.
