It's pretty easy. If you warm the truck up first it should help it pop out easier. Big pair of slip joint pliers & rubber hose on the jaws popped mine right out. Lube the orings before you pop it back in.
I just used a can of carb cleaner. I saw on a video where a guy used a carb cleaner poured from a bottle and soaked the valve in it.
DO NOT get any cleaner inside the valve's solenoid. If you look at the bottom end of the solenoid body there are a couple holes that cleaner/solvent can get into and it will damage the solenoid or actuator or whatever you want to call it.
