Just curious about what is possible when stacking tunes. I have a banks six-gun tuner that I have installed recently and I actually forgot that I had an Atlas 40 tune on my FICM, and was curious if anyone has done or heard of doing this before. The truck runs great and the EGTs stay manageable, even when towing and the truck behaves as it should. My signature is incorrect. I have H11 studs and FEL-PRO gaskets installed.
Some ecm tunes complement FICM tunes better than others from what I have been told. I have an Atlas 40 FICM tune and Innovative ecm tunes. I asked Innovativene and they said their tunes work well with the Atlas 40. You don't get 100% stacking in terms of output. It's quite a bit less but does increase output as well as other benefits.
FICM has all the control over the fueling so ideally I would think the tuner would account for it in a custom tune. Most tune around the FICM by fooling the ICP sensor.
