is there any benefit of the x3 over the sf?i see the sf is a little cheaper, but if you ever sold the truck,it looks like the sf with the canned tunes would be better for resale.
I have the X3 and can have up to 10 custom tunes to choose from. I'm very happy with mine. They both work well but when trying to get the most out of your truck, being it economy driving, towing heavy or light or all out performance. Custom tunes is the only way to go. A tuner will work with you regarding what you have installed on your truck and dial it in, so to speak. Dont get me wrong. Canned tunes are ok but you won't be able to maximize the efficiency or power potential of your particular setup. Other areas to look at would be having your FICM redone to correct known weak areas of that module and upgrading to the Atlas 40 to even achieve better performance with a SCT Tuner.
I don't think so, but the only real difference is having canned tunes vs more slots for custom tunes. I found a 3015 SF3 for cheap that was used and unlocked, so that's what I have.
