7.3 idi bare bones wiring

Hey guys I'm working on a truck project where I want to mount a 7.3 idi mid chassis, behind the cab and need to know what wiring I have to have to get the truck to start and run and have the automatic transmission function properly.
The donor vehicle is a 1993 e350 econoline with 7.3 idi that was an ambulance in its previous life.
I want to use it for my 1947 Ford cab over truck build and want the wiring and install to be as clean and simple as possible.

Thanks for any help!

For engine running you need the two glow plug wires, and the red wire for key on power. The glow plug controller gets it's signal to turn on from the key power. The high idle and cold advance get there power from this as well.
For the trans, assuming it's an E4OD, you'll need the FILP sensor and tach sensor.

Ok thanks for the info and ya I believe it's the e4od auto, I'm just trying to figure out what wiring I can get rid of from the chassis and body, I want to strip as much off as possible and then when I have the cab mounted I will get a painless wiring harness or something similar for my lights and everything else. I will probably wire the motor up to a couple of toggle switches to start it and shut it off for now.

Also the econoline appears to have a pcm or something of the sort that went through the firewall to the right of the steering column when sitting in the drivers seat. Do I have to keep it?

Thanks!

A misspelling. I meant FIPL, it's the throttle position sensor on the side of the injection pump. It's for the transmission, the engine has no electronics running it.
The PCM is for the transmission. It is electronic, for simplicity a C6 would work, but the overdrive is worth the wiring complexity of the E4OD.

Ok that's what I was wondering, so what I might do is get a standalone controller for the e4od. They don't seem overly expensive and would allow for pretty good control of the transmission without all the hassle of all the existing wiring.
