I have some monroe shocks on my truck now but I am disappointed with the way it handles the corners. Way to much roll. What do you guys think is the best shocks for better handling?
Shocks are intended to dampen suspension travel, control oscillation, and work in combination with the springs, tires, and wheels. Tires have spring rate too. Ya have to think of it as a system. Shocks alone wont do it.
These trucks are nose heavy...Improving handling typically includes a front anti-roll bar, poly bushings, a wider tire contact patch, lower profile tires, and a lower center of gravity.
My 70 uses a 75-79 front anti roll bar, Bilstein shocks in front, Monroe gas magnums in back, and dropped 3 inches in front and 5.25 inches in back.

Good looking truck, but you need to get that hood adjusted down-you could throw a cat through there!
To the original poster, I have a set of them for a 2wd truck for sale if you are interested.
I used them maybe 5,000 miles, but lowered my truck and so I changed the shocks.
