Sync 3 Cover Getting Stuck.
Anyone here having this problem? 2017 6.7 Platinum. The compartment under the center console that houses the 2 USB ports gets stuck when its in the open position. When I push it it to slide it into the closing position it does nothing. I literally have to jam my hand between the cover and the center console and forcefully pull it to close it. Really annoying.

This is a known defect and there is an updated part. For the most part they are backorderd. Mine lasted one round of open and close while I pulled out of dealers lot, but I already knew from this forum what I was in store for.
It took my dealer 2 weeks to get one when usually it takes 2 days to get parts.
I haven't brought my truck in yet. I'll do it when I go in for an oil change
So make sure you go and get them to order the part first without an appointment. Then come back.
The service manager was all cocky with me when I told him that this is a known defect.... he said well I'VE NEVER heard about it.
He changed his tune when he found out the new parts were backorderd.
I've dealt with the jerkoff in the past when I mention stuff I found out in forums. He just laughs at me and says OHH..the internet says so.
