I'm gonna guess: business cards, pass-key card, note pads, small day-minder, things like that... A biz card (or pass-key card) fits on the upside-down, fat staple-shaped groove. And I guess you could put a notepad in either of the other 2 remaining slots, depending on the dimensions of the notepad and/or your NARROW style day-planner (vs. the fat, notebook style day planners)?

I know what you mean 02, I keep putting money in mine but I have yet to win anything. I think it's all rigged anyhow. I also have Keno and bingo card holders. (It came with a big green marker stock too.)

Those slots are probably another one of those trash bag hook ideas... you know.. "Let's put this odd thing right here, so everyone can ask everyone else exactly what it is, when even we don't know..."

The slots you are talkig about are actually for a tissue holder for those who have ongoing problems with their trucks. The tissue boxes can be found at your local wally mart or whatever. I think this is what you are talking about because you said on the bottom side of the cover.
