I dont understand this on page 234 of the OM. Can someone explain it to me? I only get an audible warning when something is close to the back of the truck. I get no indication when something is close to the front or side - which is what this picture leads me to believe should happen. Maybe I dont have this option?
For some reason, a lot of folks are missing the obvious. The rear park aid becomes active when the truck is in reverse. The backup camera comes on in the center (audio) screen. On my truck, there is an over-set image of a pickup in the backup camera display, kind of off to the right and down. As the audible beeps start happening, there are four zones that show up, one for each sensor in the bumper. As you approach an object, that zone starts off as green, then turns yellow, and finally red as you get closer and closer. (In-line with the beepers getting more frequent until finally a steady tone).
We don't have front sensors available yet, so that graphic isn't quite right, but we definitely have that feature for the rear.
