Would some Forscan trickery be required? Curious as I am looking to buy a new f350 but really don't want to buy a truck with the ultimate package in order to get the camera system, and don't have time to do a custom order for a new truck.
There are a few aftermarket units out there too that will net the same result on your factory screen through an interface which may be an easier and less expensive install than the OE. Google "360 vehicle camera system" and you should see a few options. Most car audio shops that do integration stuff can install them if it's not something you want to tackle yourself.
If you can buy a camera setup and have it work with build in nav screen I would be all over this. I want a front bumper cam for city parking.
Yes I have managed many a years without fitting stuff but sure would be handy. I can park my rear bumper to within two inches of the garage. I would like the same for the front pumper.
You absolutely can. I researched adding one to my wife's incoming Jeep GC which doesn't have the option available from the factory yet. I can't remember the brand but I do know it wasn't hard to find and claimed compatibility with any OE NAV screen.
