I was just on E-trailer, the B&W kit looks like a nice setup, especially if the gooseneck is the main usage. I wonder if the bed comes off to install the factory setup that Rheingar is having done?
Both the Reese and Ford kit requires the bed bolts be removed and the bed lifted about 2 - 4 inches.
One thing to keep in mind with kits other than Reese and Ford is the other kits are proprietary meaning you can only use the manufacturer's products with it. Many manufacturers make gooseneck ***** and fifth wheel hitches for the Reese and Ford kits and Reese makes an adapter than allows rail mounted fifth wheel to be used with the Reese and Ford kits.
The Ford Kit is $695 from Ford and the gooseneck ball and chain loops from Curt is $90.85 from Amazon. So, buying the Reese kit that includes the gooseneck is basically the same price.
The Reese kit that includes the gooseneck mount and ball is $771.91. Neither of these are available for the 2017 Ford SD.
It sounds like you are saying that Reese is not available, but in the later post you say it is? I only see the B&W available for the 2017 or the factory kit like you first posted.

I should have qualified my post with "if the price for the 2017 Reese kit turns out to be the same as the '11- '16 Reese kit..."
