Take a very close look at the plug on the passenger side of the transmission. Unplug it and take the back shell off the plug and look at the wires going into the plug.
So I found a plug on the drivers side, I couldn't locate anything on the passenger side. I pulled it out and everything seemed to be in order. I borrowed a better scan tool from a friend this gave me additional codes maybe this will help with my issues.

P1746 are all coming up now. The truck will not drive in drive. If I put it in first it goes but needs more gas than I think it should same for second. It will go into reverse and drives. I didn't test any of them more than 5 feet.
Either all of your solenoids have failed, or even more likely, there is damage to the wiring harness going to the passenger's side of the transmission. The connector is behind a heat shield on the passenger's side.
Thank you between the exhaust and this shield I could not see the plug at all. There was a bad wire that I was able to repair last night. Thank you to everyone who helped me with this, you saved me a ton of money not needing to go to the transmission shop.
Since the solenoid and wire repair, I am now getting the code stating the torque converter is slipping. I have read a bunch of threads that say it needs to be low stall, and complete billet. Does anyone have a recommendation, on one that has been running in their truck well for a while? I was looking at the monster Heavy Duty E4OD Torque Converters, Heavy Duty 4R100 Torque Converters the one for like 300 anyone have experience with one of these.
Also planning on upgrading the trans cooler, temp gauge, and adding a pan with a drain plug. anything else you can recommend while its apart?
