Che O'Reilly. They carry some Motorcraft items. Also, check Rockauto.

Home Page | O'Reilly Auto Parts

You can also go to the Ford Parts website and drill down to brakes, and disc, pads to get the Motorcraft part numbers. The part number will be inside the parenthesis.

Thank you
What does this mean

"1125 (BRRF-100)Disc brake rotor- Left Hand Drive 4WD (Part Time Drive) Ford 250 Series Ford 350 Series ; With Single Rear Wheels; Ford Retail Spec (Front)"

Then under that part number is
"1125 (BRR-273)- Disc Brake Rotor 4WD; w/ Single Rear Wheels (Front)"

Ford sold vehicles for use in countries such as Australia or UK or South Africa where the steering wheel is on the right side of the trucks. These trucks would be Right hand drive(r). Part time drive might be auto 4x4?. I do not own a 4x4, so , not sure. The Motorcraft part number is BRRF-100. The rest is pretty much self explanatory.

Then under that part number is

Motorcraft part number is BRR-273. I believe this would be full time 4x4 or manual 4x4?.

Personally, I would go to a local parts house such as O'Rielly, Advance, or Autozone and buy the parts. They are usually covered by a limited lifetime warranty and same quality as Motorcraft.

You have to remember, some company made the parts for Ford. Ford did not manufacture any pads, rotors or other brake parts. They contracted to some company for them to be labeled in Motorcraft boxes.

Have you tried collecting the part numbers form a dealer, or possibly Amazon itself?

I don't know how long you've been working on your own cars, but this is wrong.

That does not mean that all parts are of equal quality. Parts that come in Motorcraft boxes are consistently high quality. The parts stores sell cheap, made overseas junk that won't last nearly as long.

I have probably been working on cars longer than you have been out of diapers. But who is counting?

I disagree with you. The parts sold have to meet federal saftey standards just as Motorcraft. Also, who is to say the Motorcraft parts are not made overseas? Do you have proof they aren't?'

Also, how many manufacturers of a single part do you thing there is in the USA? Odds are there might be two and outside chance of 3. When I worked a a parts house many years ago, a customer needed a timing chain set. We did not have e it in stock, so I went to the NAPA store for the part to sell to the customer. The timing chain in the NAPA box was stamped Cloyes, same as out store brand. NAPA price was 1/2 again higher than the part we sold because it was in the NAPA box.
The parts sold are just as good a Morotcraft. If they weren't, I would not buy from local parts house for my daughter's car to transport my two granddaughters. Like NAPA parts, Motorcraft is just a label on a box of parts Ford has contracted to have supplied for them. You are paying for the name.

You need to get a grip on life and stop drinking the "brand name" kool aid.

Dang, I must have wasted my money getting those Timken bearings for my truck when I could have gotten a set of duracrap bearings for $100 less with a "lifetime" warranty that I'll use every 500 - 10,000 miles.

BTW you need to chill. Being wrong isn't the end of the world.

I never have any luck with Napa, autozone, advanced. Seems they sell junk. I got an end link for my truck and it was gone in 1000 miles. Less than a year. Got a ford part, double the price and it's still good.
I want all motorcraft parts when I do my brakes
You get what you pay for

Your money, spend it how you want. A lot depends on which part you buy. If you buy the cheapest part at the local parts houses, then yes, you might. But, with any part, there are inherit failures that will happen. This time, buying the Motorcraft parts might have a failure of one item of all you buy.

good luck to you and happy spending.

Yep, my Motorcraft parts say made in USA. I have never found a NAPA part that wasn't made in China.

Lots of Timken and Bower and other bearings are now made in China. Made in the USA might also include parts to manufacture the end product made in other countries. It is not as straight forward as it use to be.

Example. The 6.7L engine in the 2011 and up SD are made in Mexico.
