So, I'll start off saying that I bought this 2006 F350 drw 6.0 psd with 108,000 on it from a dealership that bought it from a auction and brought it back for resale. So there's no way I could know the person who owned this truck before me. So I came to find out myself while doing injector seals and a Egr delete, that the freaking thing already had a Egr delete, and a cat delete, and also a afe air intake. I bought a sct x4 with the tow setting at 65hp to keep head pressure down. But what I was just delighted to find out is that it is also already studded. So this makes me wonder what else is done to the truck, and what my next step should be on this truck. I just did the blue spring upgrade, I'm about to to do 6.4 banjo bolts, and I'm thinking either a Coolant filter or gauges next. Y'all tell me what y'all think. (BTW, I am just some High School Senior that welds on the weekends and does other odds and ends throughout the week, so the money that I do have takes time to build up. So preferably cheaper mods first.)
Got any pics of the truck & engine bay? (We love truck ****) The oem air intake is actually better filtration and good up to 500hp than all the aftermarket ones available, I'm sure others will chime in. First and most important thing I'd spend some cash on is TorquePro for android and a Bluetooth obd2 adapter or some other method to view live data. It'll run about $25-30 for torque pro. Then you'll want to make sure there's no active codes and look over the the sensors to give the truck a clean bill of health. Once you know there's no issues then I'd say have at it with other upgrades. Simple repairs can add up quickly and drain your wallet. The tech folder in the 6.0 section has a mountain of information to help out.
My guess is it's a fair chance the oil cooler has already been done too. Check to see what kind of coolant you have. I vote for gauges as the next move and then just drive it and see what it's doing. You will soon be advised to get rid of the aftermarket intake and find a factory air setup. I agree with that approach. Good luck. Sounds like a pretty good start.
Here's one photo of the engine bay right before injector seals, looks pretty stock besides the intake. I ordered the obd2 connector and it should be in Friday also I haven't heard good from afe, ESPECIALLY since I believe this is a wet filter which I don't trust at all. I'll probably make a junk yard run sometime soon and look for a stock one and clean it up.

Get an oem oil filter cap & filter too, that's an aftermarket one. It's too tall and won't filter the oil. You'll need to pull the turbo feed tube & route that harness on the top side before the turbo melts it. There's a plastic mount that holds it that's missing.
