Cylinder heads

What would happen if I used a 1973 cylinder head with a 75.6 cc combustion chamber on one side of my motor and a 1970 cylinder head with a 77.8 cc combustion chamber on the other? It's a ford 400

Providing you have the intake, carb, fuel lines, distributor, plugs and wires in, etc, etc....she would run.

mmm, different compression on each side isn't optimum, but like others have said, it will run.

Check your deck height and put the smaller chamber heads on the taller side - there could be some variation that could actually help you out. That or have the head with the larger chamber milked down a bit.
