Water/meth
I have a 2004 f350 i was thinking about installing a water/meth kit on.I would be using it for cooling purposes and would run straight water.I have a tow tune, intake, some exhaust work and blue spring.Truck has 90,000 miles and still has stock head bolts and gaskets.Would it be safe to spray straight water for cooling?I would only use it when towing. Thanks for your time.

Depends on the quantity of water injected. Your ambient temperature (if it ever freezes where you live or travel straight water has this thing called freezing) if you're saving money with tap water be aware that the mineral in the water will be deposited on internal surfaces as it evaporates

I use water/meth for my truck while towing for cooling purposes. I'm in Central California, so I don't have to worry about freezing. I run straight water, it's supposed to give you 40 extra horsepower. It definitely helps keep my EGT's in check. I think it helps a little with the ECT's as well. I don't tow tuned, found my MPG's go way down when I did. Those little tanks 3 and 5 gallon tanks won't get you anywhere though. I had to put in a 50 gallon tank in the bed for those long trips.
