So, cleaning the truck for trade and found my spare EGT sensor I carried from before the reflash. Two questions. 1) Has the reflash killed this issue completely? I can't remember the last time I've read about someone being stranded by one of these little buggers so I'm not sure if carrying a spare and wrench is necessary any longer... 2) Is the part number the same for the 2017's? If I don't need it, it's different for 17, or both, I'll just pop it on eBay. Thanks guys.
I have no idea about the '17s, but I guess you will let us know! As far as shutting the truck down, haven't heard of anyone's doing it since the flash. However, there are lots of trucks out there without that flash because,as dependable as these things are, not many have taken them back in for anything.
