302 injectors

i order new injectors for my 95 f150 with the 302. They are remand injectors. I opened the box to find that it seems they shipped me 2 different types of injectors. 2 of them have a black tip and the they appear to be the same as stock. The other 6 have a yellow tip and seem to have some sort of pin where the ports should be. I have posted pictures to show what I'm talking about. My question is do I need to return the yellow tip ones cuz they sent the wrong ones? Or are both types of injectors fine to use together in my truck?

They sent you a mix of the older and newer style injectors, single hole versus 4 hole. The latter are supposedly a little more efficient. Regardless, I would not mix-n-match. For remans. I highly suggest the single hole version.

I believe the early version are referred to as EV1 and the later version w/4 holes is EV6.

The 4 hole injectors are prone to sticking open, so despite the fact they atomize fuel better than the early pintle style they're not worth the hastle IMO.

Seeing how I have a leaking injector that's good to know. I plan to replace them all real soon. Conanski, do you have a preferred brand? I'll be looking for remanufactured to save money but I've read good things on the Denso injectors. I'm driving a stock 94 E150 with a 302.
