Mud flaps may have an issue

With my 2011 F350 XLT the rear mud flaps came with the truck but going through Ford's Build and Price it does not look like any variant comes with rear mud flaps and the dealer said the front mud flap option was rejected when trying to order.
I got to wondering with an aluminum body if there might be a metal fatigue issue where you normally attached mud flaps and this has not been worked out.

Nah, plenty of us have them.

You can order them and install or pay dealer to do it.

Gatorbacks from Sharp Truck, and they are ready to mount.

We have factory front and back mud flaps on our 2017 F350 XLT.
