I have a 2008 F-350. Tried Ford. Picked up their product. Alleged only product. Reqeuired a drill. Did not fit from pictorial directions. Took Ford product back. I had previously asked the same question on this forum. Went to a local company and had them put on. Didn't ask price. Molded for my truck. HUSKY. Beautiful. $40.00 installed. I couldn't be happier.
My parts guy at the dealer said that the ford oem's are made buy husky, to ford specs , but the huskys hang down lower to protect the truck better , and of course they don't have the ford logo , I have the ford flaps ,but like the huskys better ! , Craig.
I have the Ford flaps and have been happy with them. But, that is on my 2004 F250.
Something changed, because that is why the first mud flaps I tried from FORD did not fit. My 2008 came with front wheel flaps, that look identical to the rear husky brand I installed.
The installation just uses the four black push screws that are already in place, although I think the kit has bigger screws. Also one set screw that helps to hold in place. husky for me.
