newbie here first post and not sure if this is the right place for this post
i have a 2016 F-250 6.2 with the remote start, when the truck sits all night the key fobs will not work the next morning it's like it is on sleep mode it will not unlock or lock and remote start will not work unless i go to the truck and press the key pad and i push 7/8-9/0 together then from there everything works, very frustrating to have this option and having to walk out and start it worked fine for the 1st few weeks, just wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem
Thanks love this forum a lot of good info here
I have the same truck configuration and I have not had this problem at all with the keyfob not working. You might try changing the battery in the fob? Could be that you got some bad batteries. That would be where I would start and if that does not work, maybe the dealer can flash it or something.
I know you have to hit the lock button once and then hit the remote start button twice to remote start it.
Just as a side note, not sure if the newer keys loose their programming like the older ones do.. but here is a guide to re-program on the newer trucks, Ignore the F150 in the url bit I clicked on F-series trucks and then 2014.

i will give it a try, i don't feel it's the batteries it seem like the truck goes into sleep mode it just happens in the morning and the rest of the day it works fine, i had a 2016 F-350 diesel and the same thing happened didn't work in the morning but was fine the rest of the day
